Maracas Bae (Somewhere in the Caribbean Collection)

Maracas Bae is a bold sky blue cream polish
one coat:

This polish applies very smoothly and nicely. I did find the first coat a bit streaky so I added a second coat

two coats:

This polish is fully opaque in two coats and dries to a smooth, high gloss shine so there is no need for a glossy top coat. I tested out the LallDass matte top coat along with this polish.

Final Thoughts

I'd give this polish a 10/10 I love the bright bold color! This shade has a lovely formula that is easy to apply and it has a nice brush that doesn't get polish all over the place. I love love love this fun bright color it is perfect for summertime! I find that this chips in about 4-6 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't noticeable. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain.

Get Red of Him (Be My Valentine Collection)

Get Red of Him is a classic firetruck red cream polish

one coat:

This applies very nicely and super smooth and even. I did find it to be a tad bit sheer for my liking (you can totally leave it at one coat and it looks great) I'm super picky about how opaque my polish is so I went in for a second coat.

two coats:

This polish is fully opaque in two coats and dries to a smooth, high gloss shine so there is no need for a glossy top coat. I tested out the LallDass matte top coat along with this polish.

Final Thoughts

I'd give this polish a 9/10 simply because I'm not used to having to do two coats on a darker polish like this red. Having said that it is a stunning color with a beautiful smooth formula and i will definitely continue to use it! I love a good classic red and this shade looks amazing with all skin tones. I find that this chips in about 4-6 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't noticeable. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain.

N52 Ocean Gold

Ocean gold is a teal blue metallic polish with a golden shimmer shift

one coat:

This golden shift is absolutely gorgeous! The first coat applied smoothly and evenly and had no brush strokes.

two coats:

Ocean Gold is fully opaque in two thin to medium coats. It dries smooth but just a tad dull so I would typically add a top coat to enhance the gold shimmer. (It's more noticable in person :) )

Final Thoughts

I'd give this polish a 100/10! I just cannot get enough of that golden shift! I feel like a mermaid when I wear this polish, it's magical. I recommend this polish to anyone and everyone, even if you think it's a little bold I guarantee it will put you in a good mood as soon as you put it on its so fun. I find that this chips in about 4-7 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't noticeable. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain.

N15 Pearly Pearl White

Pearl White is a white metallic nail polish.

First coat:

 The first coat applied easily but was slightly patchy so I went in with a second coat to even it out.

Second coat:

This polish is fully opaque in 2-3 coats depending on coat thickness and I find that it dries in about 4-5 minutes with a medium thickness coat.

Final Thoughts

I'd give this polish an 10/10. It's a neat twist on the basic white manicure. It had some brush strokes when dried but they're not noticeable and it's easy to mask them depending on how you manipulate the brush. I find that this chips in about 4-7 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't noticeable. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain.

N25 Rosy Red

Rosy Red is a burgundy metallic polish

First coat:

 First coat applied very nicely, almost completely opaque in one coat I just had a little sheer spot on my pointer finger but that could just be user error.

Second coat:

The second coat deepens the color slightly and makes it fully opaque. The polish has a nice glossy finish so I personally do not find the need for a top coat. 

Final Thoughts

I'd give this polish an 10/10. It's a stunning color and has little to no brush strokes once it has dried which is really hard to find in a metallic polish! I find that this chips in about 4-7 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't noticeable. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain.

Parrot Polish:Peach Sunday-Solar

Parrot Polish is owned by David Abshire, he is so nice and super helpful! As a whole I love every polish I've tried from them so far, super pigmented, easy to apply, and a nice thick brush.

Peach Sunday - Solar

Peach Sunday is an off white cream to a peachy orange solar polish (cream in shade and peach/orange in sunlight)

one coat:

 first coat is really sheer, borderline clear but don't be alarmed I've found this to be typical for solar polishes and it does build up nicely. This applied super smoothly and dried fully in about 2 min.
second coat:

 the second coat is still very sheer but continues to apply easily and dry quickly
three coats:

 on the third coat you can really see this polish build up to a nice cream shade. You can leave it at three but I can still see a little bit of my nail line so I went in for another coat
four coats:

this polish is fully opaque in four coats. It does dry matte/dull so I added a shiny top coat, I used sally hansens miracle gel.

now how about that solar effect? This polish changes to a more intense orange in brighter and more direct sunlight so you can get a gorgeous range of peach tones depending on the lighting you're in.

I'm obsessed! I love the gorgeous peach tones that come out of this and since I usually wear a basic white polish this is a fun way to mix it up without going too far out of my comfort zone. I have had this polish turn a slightly deeper orange than pictured in the earlier hours of the day when the sun super bright.

Final Thoughts

This is a 10/10 it's my typical manicure with a fun twist! I find that the solar polishes chip in about 6-10 days with topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't overpowering. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain!
