NFT Lacquer:N14-Glitter

Check out all of their polishes here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/NFTLacquer

NFT Lacquer is an indie shop on etsy with beautiful glitters and stunning metallics!

N14-Glitter

N14 is a teal and silver micro glitter in a clear base
One coat over a clear base, black, and white:
For the black I used sally hansens extreme lacquer in blackout and for the white is used essie polish in blanc

This polish looks beautiful as a topper on both the black and the white and I can't wait to test it over more colors over time! I only used one coat because I like how it looked with this amount of glitter but you can always use more! This can get fully opaque on its own in 4-5 coats depending on thickness of each coat but I personally prefer to use it as a topper. Since it is a glitter it has a bit of texture to it when it dries so you will most likely want to use a top coat to smooth it out, I used sally hansens miracle gel.

I personally used this glitter polish over a black base, I love the light flecks of teal on the dark background it reminds me of a galaxy.

Final Thoughts

This is a 10/10 because it's just so darn pretty! The glitter disperses so evenly that it basically applies itself. I love the color too, so stunning. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't overpowering. Removes pretty easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain, however it is a glitter polish so it is harder to remove than a typical nail polish. I would definitely recommend checking these glitter polishes out.

Priti NYC Polish:Day Flower

Check out all of their polishes here: http://www.pritinyc.com/

Priti NYC Polish is a vegan nail polish brand. They specialize in glossy creme polishes in all shades imaginable.

Day Flower

Day Flower is a periwinkle creme polish with a high gloss shine
First coat:

Welp first coat kindof looked like colored water :/ major disappointment so far pigment wise but it applied nicely.
Second coat:
Major improvement but I still found it to be a little bit streaky, I'm sure you could do two coats and have it be fully opaque if you went a little thicker, but I personally do quite thin coats so I'm going to need a third.
Third coat:

This polish was fully opaque in three coats. On the plus side it is super glossy and smooth so there is no real need for a top coat!

Final Thoughts

I'd give this polish an 8/10. It's a stunning color and has a gorgeous shine but it takes quite a long time to dry and I don't have time for 3 slow coats. I find that this chips in about 3-5 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't noticeable. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain.

Candy Paints:Berry Smoothie

Check out all of their polishes here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/WillowTreeMinerals?section_id=7318198

Candy Paints is the nail polish line by the cosmetic company Willow Tree Minerals on etsy. This line is all about embracing natural ingredients, with a water based formula it is safer and better for you!

 Berry Smoothie

Berry Smoothie is a burgundy red with golden shimmer throughout
(a pic with flash to show off this shimmer!)
First coat:

first coat was perfect, no streaks and not sheer at all! I was surprised because it is a water based formula so I expected it to be sheer and runny but it was the same as any other polish. I did have a little bit of trouble with the brush, it was less stiff than I'm used to using so it got all up in my cuticles but with some practice I'm sure I'll get the hang of it!

Final Thoughts

This is a 8/10 for one reason only-it takes a long time to dry. I am in LOVE with the color, the formula, everything except for the dry time. I will still definitely be rocking this color all the time but with my busy schedule quick drying is something I look for in a polish. This one recommends 1 hour to dry but I found it only took about 30-45 min (depending on coat thickness) before I could go about my day without worrying. Another amazing thing about this polish is that it doesn't have that typical polish scent. This one gives off more of a sharpie type scent but more subtle than that, its a major upgrade and makes my mom happy because I'm not stinking up the house with polish! Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain!

side note: top coat really helps bring out the golden shimmer in the polish😉

N27 Pop of Sugar-Glitter

N27 is a pink and silver micro glitter in a clear base
One coat over a clear base, black, and white:
For the black I used sally hansens extreme lacquer in blackout and for the white is used essie polish in blanc

This polish looks beautiful as a topper on both the black and the white and I can't wait to test it over more colors over time! I went in for a second coat because you can never have too much glitter
Two coats:
Can this get any prettier? This can get fully opaque on its own in 4-5 coats depending on thickness of each coat but I personally prefer to use it as a topper. Since it is a glitter it has a bit of texture to it when it dries so you will most likely want to use a top coat to smooth it out, I used sally hansens miracle gel.

This polish over black is stunning. One of my go to glitter polish looks from now on for sure.

Final Thoughts

This is a 10/10 for many reasons. First I just love glitter! Its super easy to apply you don't need to manipulate the glitter too much to get it evenly dispersed over the nail. I am obsessed with the pink and silver glitters, subtle but still so glam. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't overpowering. Removes pretty easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain, however it is a glitter polish so it is harder to remove than a typical nail polish. I would definitely recommend checking this polish out.

Parrot Polish:Pink Chiffon

Check out all of their polishes here: http://www.parrotpolish.com/

Parrot Polish is owned by David Abshire, he is so nice and super helpful! As a whole I love every polish I've tried from them so far, super pigmented, easy to apply, and a nice brush.

Pink Chiffon

Pink Chiffon is a pink metallic with a blue shift
First coat:

This polish really only needed one coat, you can do two to make it more opaque but since its more metallic you don't really need it. The polish has a smooth texture and a demi matte finish. I didn't use a top coat this particular time because I knew I was taking it right off to test it over other polishes. I tested this polish over both a black and white base.
I used one coat of Essie "Blanc" for my white base
And 2 coats of sally hansen "Black Out" for my black base
left: pink chiffon alone.....middle: white base.....right: black base

This polish over black is the coolest thing I've seen all week. It looks mostly blue but you can see the pink shimmers in some lighting its like you get a second polish in one. Over white it looks the same only a bit brighter but it still looks good.

Final Thoughts

This is a 10/10 for many reasons.First, over that black!!!! its super easy to apply and the fact that you can go with one coat makes it so much easier for a busy person like me. I am obsessed with the color because its unique but super wearable for the average person. I find that one coat chips in about 5-9 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't overpowering. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain, however it does leave behind a bit of blue shimmer. The shimmer comes of easily with more nail polish remover.

Parrot Polish:Black Cherry-Thermal

Check out all of their polishes here: http://www.parrotpolish.com/

Parrot Polish is owned by David Abshire, he is so nice and super helpful! As a whole I love every polish I've tried from them so far, super pigmented, easy to apply, and a nice brush.

Black Cherry - Thermal

Black Cherry is a very dark brown/black to magenta thermal (black when cool, magenta when warm)
First coat:

first coat was really sheer but pretty even, it was really easy to apply and dried fully in about 3 min.
second coat:

the second coat is fully opaque. The polish is slightly textured due to the pigments needed for thermal polishes so you probably want to add a top coat. I always use the sally hansen miracle gel topcoat

lets see this magenta shift! I just got some warm water from the sink to change the color but hotter water will produce a better change.

I love this polish! My first thermal polish ever and my first polish from this brand, off to a good start! The polish changed to magenta almost instantly and went back to black about 20 seconds after taking it out of the water in my cold house.

Final Thoughts

This is a 10/10 it's so pretty! I find that the thermal polishes chip in about 5-7 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't overpowering. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain!

Parrot Polish:Black magic-thermal

Check out all of their polishes here: http://www.parrotpolish.com/

Parrot Polish is owned by David Abshire, he is so nice and super helpful! As a whole I love every polish I've tried from them so far, super pigmented, easy to apply, and a nice brush.

Black Magic - Thermal

Black Magic is a black to pale grey thermal with a hint of shimmer (black when cool, grey when warm)
First coat:

first coat was a little bit sheer but pretty even, it was really easy to apply and dried fully in about 3-4 min.
second coat:

the second coat was fully opaque and super black. The polish is slightly textured due to the pigments needed for thermal polishes so you probably want to add a top coat. I always use the sally hansen miracle gel topcoat

Time to see this thermal change! I got some warm water from the sink to change the color

Ahhhh I'm obsessed! I'm a sucker for basic greys and blacks and this one is just too cool. The polish changed to grey almost instantly and went back to black about 30-40 seconds after taking it out of the water in my cold house.

Final Thoughts

This is a 10/10 it's 2 of my favorite nail colors in one! I find that the thermal polishes chip in about 5-7 days with NO topcoat and I'm pretty rough on my hands. The polish had an average nail polish scent that wasn't overpowering. Removes easily with a typical nail polish remover and leaves no stain!
